Job description
Oversee day-to-day Key Account project activities; set priorities; handle executive escalations; interface with Key Account executives on project status and issue management.
Responsible for ensuring project plans, communication plans, resource plans and schedules are followed. Tracks all deliverables against schedules and milestones. Creates and coordinates all required reporting activities with Key Account customer.
Interfaces with internal Huawei and customer Key Account teams concerning schedules and technical issues. Tracks issues and resolutions. Negotiates issue resolution with customer C and D level leadership.
Provides feedback, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports. Responsible for goal-setting, annual reviews, and performance appraisals of project Director and key members of the delivery team.
Desired Skills and Experience
From any part of the world, willing to move to Mexico City.
To have working experience in US, understanding pretty well this market.
Knowledge of GSM, UMTS, CDMA and LTE (4G) infrastructure equipment and network structure.
A minimum of 12 years’ experience in telecommunications and 6 years in a project/program management leadership role.
Project Management experience with North Latin America GSM, UMTS and LTE network operators.
Experience with national and regional wireless deployment with project responsibilities over $70M.
Experience managing 70+ individual contributors, first and second level technical/professional management, program management, and engineering personnel.
Experience in researching and resolving customer contracts, scope, responsibility matrix, change order, schedule, technical and program issues.
Extensive background with RFPs, bid, proposal, budget and contract management.
Travel availability is a must.
