Job Description
Be a part of Intel Data Center Group's (DCG) Strategic Planning leadership team driving the business strategies and product roadmap for one of Intel's fastest growing businesses. You will be Director of Strategic Planning for Intel's network platforms & connectivity silicon product roadmaps including defining requirements for network infrastructure processors, Ethernet components, Intel OmniPath fabrics, and silicon photonics modules reporting to Vice President & General Manager of DCG Strategic Planning. You will work directly with leading communications service providers, system vendors, and software developers to identify opportunities for innovative new network and fabric technologies that dramatically improve workload performance and reduce the total cost of ownership of network infrastructure based on Intel Architecture. You will collaborate with the business units across DCG to identify new opportunities and define winning business strategies. You will lead a team of strategic planners to develop business plans and product roadmaps to execute our strategies. You will collaborate with the engineering team to align on business priorities, market requirements, and product execution plans.
Key Job Activities
Lead and build a team of senior strategic planners with expert knowledge of the network and fabrics industry and competition.
Manage Intel's wired and wireless network infrastructure and connectivity product investment portfolio, drive product definition, and engineering execution plans.
Work closely with both service provider and system vendor customers to identify market trends and collect future product requirements and priorities. Evaluate new market opportunities and technologies to make recommendations on which to pursue.
Manage complex feature, schedule, cost, and performance tradeoffs.
Lead strategy development among multiple stakeholders and business units.
Work with engineering to define executable engineering plans.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. MBA preferred.
10 years of experience in strategic planning and/or product management.
4 years of experience defining business strategies and technical product requirements with successful execution and market adoption.
Experience in Computer Network &/or System Fabrics.
Desired Skills
Demonstrated success in managing portfolio of multiple complex products.
Experience formulating product tradeoffs, ability to bridge technical and product requirements, and clearly communication skills.
Possess strong analytical skills in identifying business & technical future trends
Strong written and oral communication skills
