Director Product Marketing HackerOne San Francisco
Job description
HackerOne is seeking a persuasive, articulate and team-oriented person to create and maintain the marketing bridge between production and outbound teams. In this role, you will represent the voice of the customer, sync the product roadmap with launch calendars, translate features into benefits and communicate those to all stakeholders as they are brought to market. Sales enablement, launch campaigns and content generation are key aspects of the role. You will work closely with Product Development, Sales, PR, Customer Success, Partners and Customers.
Responsibilities:
Identify and target key segments, positioning effectively against alternatives
Craft compelling arguments that speak to HackerOne’s target audiences
Ensure company speaks with one clear, differentiated way about HackerOne offerings
Develop, execute and measure product / solution launches
Distill and share knowledge from the marketplace to influence product direction
Challenge assumptions and long-held beliefs internally when the facts change
Train and support sales with collateral, demos, webinars, joint sales calls, and more
Present at field events (breakfasts, seminars, sales conferences, trade shows)
Participate in and support Press and Analyst programs
Skills and Experiences:
10+ years marketing experience
Demonstrated ability to influence and add value to both sales and development efforts
Expert communicator through writing, presenting, analysis and guiding creative
Love to dig into, explain and describe everything awesome about a product
Communicate effectively to diverse audience (in our case, security professionals, product developers, press, pundits, management, and hackers)
Data-driven - craft quantitative arguments alongside qualitative ones
Demonstrated ability to create world-class sales tools and educate a sales force
Self-starter and one who manage yourself and upwards effectively
Advanced business degree (such as an MBA) a plus
Adaptable - job responsibilities will evolve and change as the company grows
Skilled with PowerPoint, marketing automation, Salesforce and other marketing technology
