Job description
Provide strategic and operating leadership of the Lay's Stax and Cracker Jack brands. Lay's Stax is a Stacked Potato Chip business that is consumer-preferred versus key competition. Crack Jack is an enduring Coated Popcorn business with high-awareness and strong consumer equity. As part of Frito-Lay's Value Portfolio of Brands, the role of the Brand Marketing Director is to deliver on the 2016 Annual Operating Plan Growth Targets and set the 3-year strategy and path for continued growth in 2017 and beyond while building a high-performance team and growing talent.
Both Lay's Stax and Cracker Jack are Warehouse-delivered businesses and are sold primarily in the Alternate Snack section of stores, which brings unique opportunities. Cracker Jack is also delivered through Frito-Lay's Direct Store Delivery system. In 2016, Lay's Stax and Cracker Jack will re-evaluate all consumer touch points to build a diffentiated experience in the eyes of core consumers and unlock new sources of growth in key channels and retailers. Frito-Lay is looking for a strategic leader and innovative thinker who is comfortable re-writing the brand's playbook and setting the brand's course for growth through 2020.
Qualifications:
MBA required, 5+ years of CPG experience preferred.
Experience in marketing, brand, innovation and/or shopper.
Ability to analyze data & financials, incorporate multiple insights, and develop creative solutions.
Agency management experience preferred.
People management experience preferred.
Experience with Warehouse Sales organizations ideal, but not required.
