The Internet of Things Software Platform Group is looking for a leader to help drive and evolve our platform with medium term milestones that are leveraged across many groups within Cisco. This is a high-impact role will drive common technology adoption across the IoT software platform, proven out by working code.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience/expertise in PaaS and DaaS solutions in a highly distributed environment, will be well respected by his/her peers in the technical community as a mentor, and will interact with key customers to help guide the IoT platform journey.

Minimum Qualifications Include

• Fifteen + years in the software industry with a technical position
• Considered a Scrum Master with DevOps experience running a PaaS/SaaS solution
• Intimate knowledge in Data as a Service constructs in an enterprise setting
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to a common outcome
• Excellent client-facing skills, to include cross-functional influence and external and internal partnering at senior corporate levels

• Results oriented leader with an open communication philosophy
• Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
