The Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure is responsible for the implementation and operation of all technology infrastructure deployed at our bank, which includes data center, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstation management, servers, storage and related software. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure and delivering an exceptional user experience to those we support.

Partnering with the Business Applications team, this position will lead the Infrastructure and Operations teams with overall responsibility for technology infrastructure planning and deployment of technology services including contact center and telecom systems. This hands-on position will be required to develop and lead the engineering and support teams, make technical decisions and work closely with cross functional business areas and IT vendor partners.

Responsibilities:

Partners with CIO and the Business Applications team to lead the technology infrastructure strategy and execution for the enterprise, supporting a highly successful and fast growing Bank based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Planning, project management and implementation leadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, service quality improvement and vendor management.
Develops the engineering and technology management capabilities of the organization, managing and developing existing staff as well as recruitment.
Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the Bank's requirements and expectations.
Development of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process.
Works closely with strategic vendor partner relationships.
Participate in the formulation of the company's enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.
Leads with a continuous improvement mindset.
Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.
Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures.
Leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance.

Qualifications:

12 years of relative experience (including experience within the financial industry)
At least 6+ years in a production, 24/7 high-availability multi-site enterprise banking and CRM environment, including application hosting, voice and data networks, security and information protection.
4+ years experience with high availability networks and replicated disaster recovery architectures.
Understanding of VOIP telephony services and contact center systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Server, database and messaging technologies.
Working knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) and related technologies.
Working knowledge of Cisco-based network communications technology.
Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Visio, Access (relational database structures), and PowerPoint.
Proven IT leadership and staff development skills in a regulated industry.
Bachelor Degree and or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline.
Experience with banking application and CRM infrastructure implementation and support.
Comfortable managing highly-available complex infrastructure with 24/7 availability and support.
Experience with regulatory compliance issues, as well best practices in application and network security.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
MS / Cisco / NetApp certifications.
Working knowledge of SQL Server 7.0, MS Exchange, Application and IIS Servers.
Knowledge of NetApp or EMC-based storage technology in a multi-site DR/high availability environment.
Understanding of a customer service contact center environment and KPI’s.
