Director - Finance - Retail and eCommerce - Jockey International - Kenosha


Job description
POSITION SUMMARY:

Based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jockey’s Finance Director will be lead to all financial aspects to manage and drive a profitable store, ecommerce and catalog business. The finance director will bring current financial analytics and modeling to the table and facilitate appropriate prioritization of the businesses resources and investments. The Finance Director develops the annual budget and forecasting processes, manages the financial performance of the business and is a key member of the team developing the strategic plan.

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position reports to the SVP/CFO and is a member of the direct to consumer leadership team, with the following key responsibilities:

Strategy Development – As a key member of the leadership team, provide thought leadership and facilitate the strategic and long-term financial planning process.


Financial Analysis and Decision Support – Lead financial analysis and decision support for all investments (e.g., marketing, IT, infrastructure, payroll, etc.) as it relates to the DTC business. Develop new analysis / modeling techniques and facilitates the prioritization of initiatives based on alignment with the strategy and financial returns (e.g., ROIC, NPV, etc.).


Reporting and Budget Management – Prepare annual budget. Utilize financial reporting (P&L, KPIs, etc.) to identify key revenue and margin variances and recommends actionable responses to DTC and executive leadership. Manage expense base inclusive of store payroll, utilities, ecommerce vendor contracts, etc.


Real Estate – Lead the capital planning process. Responsible for store pro-formas used by the Real Estate committee for new store or lease renewal decisions.


Team Development – Champion your finance team’s development. Lead the goal setting, performance review and development / coaching of the team while helping build the broader Jockey financial bench strength.

Desired Skills and Experience
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA strongly preferred.
Minimum 7 years of progressive financial analysis experience, with strong preference for store or eCommerce background.
Ability to solve complex problems using current financial / statistical analysis or modeling techniques.
Capable of establishing positive working relationships with the DTC, Finance and broader functional teams.
History of influencing through written and verbal communication.
Experience with an ERP system.
