Senior Director - Product Management - Search Technologies - Ask.com - Oakland
Job description
Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Own the vision and product roadmaps for world-class search technologies focusing on answering questions
Work with user experience product managers to launch new search experiences and technologies
Deliver the most relevant questions and best answers to users
Constantly improve and innovate core search technologies
Lead and cross-functional team or product managers and engineers and to launch products in an agile environment
Collaborate with revenue teams to optimize search relevance and ranking
Communicate plans, status, and results to teams and management
Understand how to support multiple languages with all search technologies
Qualifications:
5+ years of search technology experience
7 - 9 years of product management - product owner/evangelist experience
BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
Excellent leadership skills and ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, Scrum/Agile experience a plus
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills - this includes coaching and mentoring employees
Builds trust worth relationships with internal business groups
A strong detail-oriented problem solver.
Strong work ethic.
Be resourceful and innovative when tackling complex challenges in a sustainable, proactive fashion.
