Eventbrite is looking for a Senior Director, FP&A & Investor Relations to hit the ground running as a senior member of the Finance team reporting to our Chief Financial Officer. Our ideal candidate has relevant experience in corporate and operations finance, capital markets, M&A and investor relations, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead a Corporate Finance function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. We are looking for a strong team player who has the energy and capacity to get the job done in a high performance culture, and the experience to lead and mentor a growing organization.

About the gig
The Senior Director, FP&A & Investor Relations will serve as a key member of the corporate Finance team and lead all strategic planning, financial planning, business modeling, forecasting and management reporting activities. In addition, the successful candidate will lead our pre-IPO investor relations function, with a focus on building an effective communications program with existing investors and the external investment community.

You Will:

Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead the long-term strategic planning process and development of the annual operating plan
Create analyses, commentary and presentation materials for Board and leadership meetings
Deliver weekly financial updates, monthly performance analyses and quarterly rolling forecast
Maintain the three-year strategic financial plan and business model
Partner with functional business teams to provide value-added business insight and decision support
Lead management reporting, including KPI’s, dashboards, business trends and performance vs plan
Provide M&A due diligence support; develop financial models for strategic initiatives
Analyze financial planning tools and processes; make recommendations for improvement
Serve as a true financial resource to internal business partners throughout the world
Support the monthly accounting close process with detailed monthly financial analyses
Provide financial modeling and analysis for various ad-hoc financial projects

Investor Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing investors and the external investment community
Support the development and execution of our pre-IPO investor relations strategy
Deliver timely and proactive communications with analysts and investors
Provide assistance in the monitoring, analysis and communication of competitor activities
Communicate investor input, analyst activity and industry and capital markets information
You Bring:
12-15+ years of diversified finance experience
MBA from top-tier business school
Demonstrated record of strong career progression
Relevant operating experience in global ecommerce, M&A and capital markets transactions
Proven management skills and the ability to lead and develop business and finance teams
Strong working knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
A skilled approach to building strong working relationships with executive business partners
Strong and independent analytical thinker and influencer
Readiness to proactively drive and deliver high impact results through both individual and team efforts
Impeccable organizational skills, with ability to self-motivate and successfully work on multiple projects
Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty; anticipates cause and effect
Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and also manage the details
Ability to work with large data sets; deliver real insight from complex information
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; Excel / PowerPoint expert
