Director - Product Marketing - Enterprise Software - SanDisk - San Francisco
Job description
In this position, the individual will be responsible for developing market strategy, key partner relationships and high level product definition for an emerging line of enterprise software products developed by SanDisk in cooperation with key eco-system partners. They will work with technical and business counterparts at partner ISVs to drive priorities, lead the development of business plans, and manage product positioning in the marketplace. The individual will oversee market research and competitive analysis. Interacts with engineering, sales and other software product line teams to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
Desired Skills and Experience
This position requires MS/MBA/MA degree or equivalent with 15 or more years of related experience and 8 or more years of direct management experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Comprehensive experience and understanding of the Enterprise/Data Center and Open Source software segments including key customers, architectures, trends, challenges and opportunities. Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker.
