Director - Seamless Commerce - Nike - Portland


Job description
Nike’s Direct-to-Consumer (Retail) Seamless Commerce vision is “to provide seamless access to Nike products, services and experiences, anywhere, anytime”. As the Global Seamless Commerce Program Director, you will be a key member of a new cross- functional team delivering the strategy and capabilities required to seamlessly serve Nike’s consumers across our digital and physical retail channels around the globe.

Key accountabilities for your role will include:
- STRATEGY: Contributing to the definition and evolution of Nike’s Seamless Commerce strategy and priority initiatives as a member of the Seamless Commerce Core Team

- PROCESS DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION: Defining needed business process changes, and designing and implementing new and improved processes to deliver seamless consumer experiences

- PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Bringing together and leading Global and Geography cross-functional teams, from areas including Brand, Merchandising, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology to plan and manage the implementation of seamless commerce initiatives in Nike’s Direct-to-Consumer global and geography functions and concepts


- BUSINESS ANALYTICS: Defining business cases and tracking performance results for individual seamless commerce initiatives to ensure that the seamless commerce program and its components are delivering business value

Desired Skills and Experience
Job requirements include:
- 8+ years of experience in Operations, Finance, Strategic Planning or Technology. Retail experience in one or more of these fields a plus
- Experience leading and managing process change efforts
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field
- Masters of Business preferred
- Lean, Lean User Experience, Service Design or Design Thinking methodology experience
- Proven presentation and facilitation skills including high-profile presentation and active process facilitation
- Experience working with technology as an enabler to business process
- Understanding of change and transition management
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business issues and navigate the Nike matrix
- Strong project management skills with an ability to achieve aggressive goals
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully and manage and resolve conflict
- Expertise in building global consensus across business partners and influencing outcomes
- Must excel working in team oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
