Director - QA - Aerohive Networks - San Francisco

Job description
Lead the Aerohive Quality Assurance team to build products that delight our customer for their stability, performance, and scalability while at the same time facilitating Aerohive business by balancing quality with business objectives.
Lead our product QA teams for all of our products including HiveOS, HiveManager, and QA infrastructure and automation in US and China.
Lead QA through transition to Agile development practices.
Oversee quality assurance strategies, methodologies with a heavy emphasis on automation and use of quality metrics..
Work with development engineering leadership to introduce best practices and tools that improve quality in development organization.
Lead and manage the release coordination process to optimize release quality and limit customer-facing defects and incidents.
Work with Product Management, Sales, Marketing and Engineering teams to ensure effective Design Transfer to Production.

Manage our customer escalations team and drive higher CSAT through fast and effective resolution of customer found defects.

Desired Skills and Experience
7+ years experience managing QA teams for enterprise level products including two or more of the following technology areas: networking, cloud, and embedded systems.
12+ years experience of advanced QA methodologies including automation tools, use case development, functional, integration, regression, scalability, and performance testing required for enterprise products.
Must have successfully implemented and managed company-wide quality policies and procedures, ideally in both embedded software development and SaaS environments.
Experience shipping products using agile development process.
Experience managing dynamic and growing geographically distributed teams.
Proven track record recruiting and retaining top engineering talent.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent time management, planning, and project management skills.
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field.
