Account Director Air Commerce Sabre Corporation Hanoi

The candidate will be responsible for managing the sales and marketing of all distribution-related products and programmes to the airline customers of Sabre in Vietnam and Cambodia for a start (portfolio can change in future). The main responsibilities will include the following:

Develop and drive strategy and execution of initiatives to ensure maximum sales and revenue growth of airline accounts in the assigned markets
Build sales pipeline and provide best in class account management to position Sabre positively with the airline
Drive airline account penetration and expansion as well as to develop senior level engagement with key airlines in the assigned portfolio
Manage matrix relationships across different departments/Divisions to build strong alignment to achieve the Company’s strategic objectives.
Responsible for specific deliverables to grow revenue and business volume after alignment with the agency Sales, Online, Global Account teams, Airline Solution
Develop proposals and quotations that comply with established guidelines and pricing policies, perform contract negotiations and close sales
Develop and drive field programs to increase bookings, booking share and support travel agency conversions
Maintain an accurate forecast of sales activity in the pipeline and regularly report key sales metrics to management
Monitor customer, market and competitor activities, provide feedback to management and recommend sales strategies
Negotiate price, contracts, terms and conditions for new expansion and renewals

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a strong commercial experience within the airline sales & distribution/ travel technology/travel agency space
Minimum 8 years related experience
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple sales channels and strategic relationships
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales and account management budgets and plans
Tech-savvy with an ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically
Extensive expertise and knowledge of airline sales & distribution as well as experience with travel technology products desired
Demonstrated network of client relationships within the airline industry desired
Ability to demonstrate excellent selling and negotiation skills
Ability to respond quickly to rapidly changing requirements
Possess good negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills
Proven track record in delivering sales targets and customer satisfaction
