Senior Director - Product Management - TubeMogul - San Francisco

We are looking for a self-starting, pioneer with a deep understanding of the television ad business and technology landscape to lead how we build our product to address this opportunity. You will lead the team to create an offering that will allow the sale and placement of television ads with all of the transparency, ease, and measurability that we have brought to digital video advertising on the web.
7+ years of experience in the television ad placement business
A deep understanding of the dynamics, players, business models, and technology associated with how television ads placements are bought and activated by top brands
Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a big-picture vision and strategy AND the passion and detail orientation to drive the details of execution
5+ years in product management, with strong, demonstrated success in identifying customer pain, crafting an solution, and collaborating to get it implemented

A passion for building high-performing customer-obsessed product teams, either by investing deeply in direct reports or by driving or supporting cross-functional teams
Well-versed in digital media industry including knowledge of trends, best practices, and consumer behaviors
Demonstrated relentless focus on customer needs and pain points as well as the ability to create innovative solutions to address them
Fluent in the metrics and of how ads are bought, sold, and measured on TV, including video-on-demand, in-line, and other formats
An entrepreneurial spirit, along with a skillset around innovation, lean testing, analytics, and customer development
