Director - Sales and Operational Planning - Hologic - New York
Job description
The Director of S&OP will lead the global S&OP process to enable the executive/leadership team to continually achieve synchronization across the organization. This includes strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing supply and demand; aligning volume and mix with capacity and capability; and integrating global financial and operating plans with strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results.
Lead and facilitate executive-level monthly S&OP reviews and include demand/supply analysis to facilitate discussions and drive executive sales and operations decisions.
Provide management team members with information that supports decision making so that decisions align the company’s demand, supply, and financial requirements and deliver strategic objectives.
Lead the S&OP process to facilitate effective methods to create forecasts with high levels of accuracy, collaborating with key stakeholders.
Develop, track, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop Business Dashboards.
Monitor KPIs and Dashboards to provide comprehensive portfolio reports, analytics and visibility around product supply status to all cross functional stakeholders.
As S&OP leader, form and lead cross functional teams as required to resolve projected supply/demand imbalances and other issues.
Ensure the systems and business processes establish S&OP as the centralized demand hub to consolidate, track, and report monthly changes for demand and financials.
Provide analytical support to improve the quality and timeliness of S&OP data and reporting for the Product Portfolio, Demand, Supply, Finance, and develop contingency plans and changes to eliminate constraints.
Actively participate in various cross-portfolio initiatives including tools and system enhancements to improve forecasting, inventory management, configuration (SKU) management, and supply/demand transparency.
Lead S&OP system integration and drive education and training of the S&OP process.
Ensure that Hologic’s S&OP process achieves and sustains a Class A level of performance. Lead annual self-assessment of the process.

Communication skills geared toward presenting recommendation and analyses to executives.
Ability to analyze input from multiple functions when developing strategies and effective problem solutions, and to present recommendations in a concise and compelling manner.
Project management experience that includes ensuring execution/completion of projects, key due dates, identification of opportunities and risk, and financial/non-financial metrics.
Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations; have a keen eye for details.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to manage data systems for business analysis and reporting.
Experience in demand forecasting, sales reporting, or strategic planning.
Education
BS/BA degree in business or analytical area
Professional certification desirable
Experience
12+ year’s experience in S&OP, Supply Chain, or Operations
5+ years of people leadership experience
Specialized Knowledge
Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Oracle desired.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Minimal travel
