Director - Product - Juniper Networks - Sunnyvale

Job Description:

Responsible for driving overall NFV Services Technologies and NFV Solutions
Responsible for (NFV) product and (NFV) solution definition, prioritization, authoring MRD, building business case and taking product through the complete productization cycle
Driving technologies such as NFV Orchestration, Services Chaining, specific VNFs, SDN controller integration, Openstack integration

Defining NFV Solutions for each target deployment working together with the specific market and deployment owners within the company
Working closely with sister Business Units to build the overall NFV Solution together
Engaging with external (NFV solution) partners to integrate their solutions into Juniper’s NFV Solution
Engaging with established customer base as well as with new prospective customers to drive adoption of Juniper’s latest NFV and virtualized L4-7 technologies
Working closely with engineering, marketing and field organizations for successful implementation, release and adoption of products
Providing product overview and direction while gathering feedback from the customer
Driving revenue and market share goals, tracking business and providing forecasts
Defining pricing for respective products
Delivering competitive analysis and positioning

Requirements:

Strong knowledge on L4-7 Services technologies, markets, services environments, and ecosystem
Strong understanding of mobile and telco markets, and overall business
Strong understanding of virtualization technologies
Strong technical background and experience on related technologies
Must have 10+ years of hands on networking experience, at least 5 years of product management experience with proven track record of success
Highly motivated and energized
Comfortable to work in new and undefined technology fields
Seasoned in developing and delivering presentations to customers and field reps
Strong verbal and presentation skills
Must have a BS/BA degree
