Director - Prime Product Management - Fidelity Investments - New York
Job description
This individual will join the Prime Services Platform Product Team to assist in developing/communicating strategy for Prime Services products and interacting with both internal users and external clients as needed. The team operates in a fast paced and challenging Prime Brokerage environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Delivering products and services throughout the product lifecycle from product planning, design, development, implementation, and on-going maintenance.
Developing a portion of large scope business cases and working with business partners to define requirements.
Providing Subject Matter Expertise to team and key business partners with regards to the market and competitive landscape for the product.
Monitoring KPI metrics for assigned products.
Assisting with development of the product roadmap and set priority in order to optimize and met client needs.
Developing and implementing initiatives that impact revenue generation, cost savings and client satisfaction.
Serving as Subject Matter Expert for internal/external inquiries.
Leading technical enhancements to address product gaps or bugs.
Translating business requirements to product-level requirements, and working with development team(s) to execute business vision on tight deadlines.
Managing the user testing and translate customer feedback into feature/function requirements for subsequent product releases. Serving as primary product interface into the technologies organizations or vendors.
Prioritizing among competing opportunities, balance consumer needs with business priorities, and articulating the rationale behind decisions.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience
Bachelors or equivalent with 10-12+ years of experience or Masters with 8-10+ years of experience.
Prime Brokerage industry knowledge coupled with business experience to bring new products and services to market.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong technical background, particularly with consumer-facing platforms and protocols.
Familiarity with user-interface and information architecture principles.
Strong business and data analysis skills.
High-energy performer with ability to be responsive to shifting business and customer needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to create strong team, internal and customer relationships.
Excellent product management and tracking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Presentation skills a plus.
Experience with internet platforms, distributed applications, and protocols a plus.
Experience with Prime Brokerage and securities finance technologies a plus.
