College Relations Director - Fidelity Investments - Fort Worth


Job description
The College Relations Program Director will serve as primary point of contact in the management of Fidelity’s University relationships within the Southwest Region. In alignment with Fidelity’s workforce strategies and various business plans, the College Relations Program Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with target schools in order to provide access to top students, deepen academic relationships and to form mutually beneficial long-term partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities:
Cultivate, drive, and maintain relationships with college placement offices, deans, faculty, students, alumni, and professional student organizations
Provide direction to firm and drive college strategy as regional University market expert
Deliver creative and innovative approaches to campus recruitment to Staffing and business partners
Manage regional campus event calendar, coordinate campus activities host/attend career fairs, meetings and conferences
Serve as subject matter expert in college workforce trends
Ensure consistent approach to corporate brand and image in all campus activities
Leverage college relationships with Regional Site Management and Community Relations
Gather requirements needed to identify Fidelity target universities. Determine level of commitment and serve as primary relationship manager.
Assesses college interests from multiple business perspectives and determines best course of action in accordance with Fidelity’s college strategy
Travel as required throughout the college recruitment cycle

Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of Staffing/HR experience
Proven success in the development of college recruitment programs
Demonstrated experience with all campus recruiting lifecycle components including sourcing, qualifying and assessing students, networking, college market trends and relationship management.

Skills and Knowledge
Success building long-term relationships with clients and business partners
Excellent organizational, project management, influencing, negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, focus on details, and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated use of technical applications and social media tools for recruitment such as RecSolu, PowerPoint, Excel, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
Experience working independently in a regional setting
Possess a broad knowledge of Fidelity businesses
