Senior Director - Personal Loans - Credit Karma - San Francisco


Job description
As Senior Director for the Personal Loans vertical, you will be the business owner responsible for prospecting, developing, and growing partnerships with leading lenders to drive transparency and financial empowerment for members. You will have the opportunity to work on many different strategic initiatives related to personal loans and from prior experience, have already acquired a deep understanding of the vertical and demonstrated the ability to work as a valued partner to Fortune 500 companies and startups alike. To succeed in this role, you must be a highly motivated, self-starter with great attention to detail who excels in a team-oriented, fast paced environment.


Desired Skills and Experience
Hyper-focused on partner satisfaction, preferably proven by at least 8-10 years of experience in a client-facing role in a sales/business development capacity
At least 3 years of experience within the Personal Loans vertical
Develop high-level relationships to serve as a trusted advisor with major partners to optimize their digital acquisition, activation and engagement strategies
An understanding of the consumer finance industry's issues, a vision for its growth and a commitment to advance Credit Karma’s forward-looking initiatives within the marketplace
Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team that is passionate about innovation and disruption to the benefit of members and partners
Possess a natural ability for analyzing information, including numerical data. Moreover, you can effectively use data to make decisions and can communicate this data to others in a manner that is succinct and easy to understand
Experience with digital marketing with knowledge of performance base marketing models CPM, CPC, CPA, and CPL
Proven performance in independently researching and resolving partner questions or concerns… the more complex the better
Experience in managing complex accounts simultaneously along with shepherding multiple cross-functional opportunities and projects in parallel
Ambitious team player with the ability to execute partner requests and tasks in time sensitive situations
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or at least 4 years of related business experience and a track record of continuous professional development; Masters preferred
