Manage various audit projects, the results of which contribute to the control environment, process efficiency and profitability of operational business areas, such as production/warehousing/distribution across all business divisions and facilities of Revlon, as well as compliance with internal and external applicable policies and regulations, by conducting (directly and through other team members) operational audits and, when necessary, special inquiries and investigations. Prepare audit reports containing findings and recommended corrective actions and follow up through implementation of action plans.

Major Duties:

Assist in the development of a company-wide risk assessement for operational processes and related risks
Assist in the development of a rotational audit plan for domestic and international production/warehousing/distribution facilities, as well as other operational processes, based on risk assessment results
Define audit projects and programs to evaluate the existence of internal controls, as well as the adequacy, effectiveness and compliance with existing controls and the protection of Company’s assets
Direct, conduct and supervise the planned operational audits for the facilities referred to above
Review, update, and enforce Revlon Internal Audit programs and standards on a regular basis
Where necessary, expand scope of audits to address financial and IT risks that may arise as part of the operational audits
Evaluate the validity of automated financial systems and controls, and develop techniques for auditing through the computer and software reviews
Write and edit audit reports for the review and approval of the Senior Vice President, Revlon Internal Audit. These reports will be directed to the requirements and interests of the senior operations management of the facilities and other operational business areas referred to above and of Revlon’s Corporate Group based upon audit findings to improve operational and financial controls, and enhance the efficient utilization of the Company’s resources
Coordinate with the independent auditors to ensure the maximum return from the audit resource
Follow up on management action plans originated from recommendations made by both the internal and independent auditors to ensure corrective action plans have been implemented
Perform asset valuation studies and other merger/acquisition due diligence reviews, as required
Conduct special projects as assigned by the Senior Vice President, Revlon Internal Audit
Knowledge & Skills Required:

A minimum of nine years of related audit experience, preferably gained in both public accounting and private industry, including at least one year in an internal audit management position
Ability to build strong working relationships with operations and financial personnel and assist in enhancing the profitability and productivity of their operations through operational audits
Management and leadership skills necessary to manage, train and motivate a highly qualified professional staff; including the overall execution of specialized audits in the consumer products industry (e.g. Purchasing, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Advertising)
Strong technical accounting and auditing skills
High professional and work ethic, with strong commitment to constantly importing the Internal audit function’s contribution to the company
The ability to work independently and to consistently meet stringent deadlines
Ability to evaluate and enhance internal controls in a decentralized corporate environment
Ability to identify problems, reccommend effective solutions, and ensure that those solutions are implemented on a timely basis
Familiarity with IT applications as they relate to conducting internal operational audits as well as ensuring that internal controls are adequate
Well developed communication and presentation skills indicative of an ability to effectively make presentations to and influence senior management, and communicate with all levels of management in a decentralized environment
Minimum Education Required:

B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (C.P.A., C.I.A. and / or MBA are preferred)

Additional Special Requirements:

Must be willing to travel 25-30% (both domestic and international travel)
Must be proficient in Windows and Office software applications ((Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)
