Burbank Television Enterprises LLC seeks a Director, Digital Operations for the WWTVM CWTV.com department. The position oversees all Quality of Service aspects of The CW’s multi-platform digital initiatives including, web, mobile, tablet and OTT. Serves as the primary product evangelist for the CW App to partner storefronts (iTunes, Amazon, Xbox, Roku, Google Play) and consolidates the internal support effort for the CW and CW Seed Apps. Additionally, works to establish a productive workflow between design, social media, video product, development and integrated marketing teams while helping to evaluate new solutions, vendors and product offerings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees operations for all aspects of CW Digital properties including CWTV.com, CW Mobile, apps and advanced platform initiatives, as well as CW Seed. Works cross functionally with Digital Media team, Network Marketing, Digital Sales and Sales Research teams. Develops yearly goals and objectives.
Maintains Quality of Service, content distribution and video delivery across all platforms.
Oversees internal team and external vendors to ensure daily delivery of CW content across all digital platforms.
Manages the publishing and distribution of all content.
Manages communications to multiple stakeholders about the daily health of the emerging digital properties of The CW Network, as well as, strategies.
Develops and implements Quality Assurance strategies across content publishing, delivery, ad-serving and product development.
Creates ongoing communications strategies that serve to inform everyone impacted by CW Network Digital platforms.
Serves as the on-call lead for digital platform performance concerns.
Monitors, escalates and resolves any issues that impact digital delivery.
Evaluates performance of digital platforms.
Oversees a team and provides ongoing opportunities for members to acquire new skills and ideas through training, conferences, workshops and more; hold team accountable for transferring their knowledge.
Identifies new ways to refine organizational and product operations.
Creates “on-boarding” strategies to support delivery of content to new platforms.
Projects monthly expenses and provide forecasts to network finance team.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical training required.
Minimum 6 years experience on a news/editorial website specifically overseeing a team and working on product support for entertainment.
Knowledge of HTML and experience with content management, video publishing and ad trafficking systems.
Active in educating self on TV and Entertainment digital platforms.
Passion for the importance of ongoing monitoring and resolution of digital platform support.
Must be comfortable with establishing process for emerging technology.
Must be able to maintain a positive disposition in a fast-paced environment and during demanding times.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must have good judgment.
Must be able and willing to take initiative and to problem solve as appropriate within the scope of responsibilities of this position.
