Engagement marketing agency Gage, with offices in Minneapolis and Seattle, is looking for a business development professional with a deep background and keen understanding of both marketing and technology, and a passion for making the two come together to drive results for Fortune 1000 companies. This position is responsible for generating new clients and projects, particularly large, complex digital marketing solutions/ecosystems for Fortune 1000 B2B and B2C companies in the United States. You will drive net new revenue growth by identifying prospective clients within targeted markets, establishing or leveraging existing relationships within those organizations, and securing projects that lead to long-standing relationships. Performance will be measured on ability to achieve aggressive prospecting, presentation and new client acquisition goals.

As Director Business Development at Gage, you will develop new business opportunities, understand client expectations and sell marketing applications that capitalize on the competencies of the Company, particularly with clients seeking digital customer and channel marketing programs that involve marketing technology (custom or off-the-shelf). You will be responsible for managing the sales cycle from identifying an opportunity to closing the sale. You will collaborate with cross discipline teams to prepare winning presentations and proposals. You must possess a high level of professionalism, outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly develop a high level of trust with clients.

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
-At least 5 years solid experience in an agency, marketing or consulting in a similar role
-At least 5 years experience in direct client selling
-Proven business record of managing and achieving growth and sales goals
-Demonstrated success in selling high-level digital marketing solutions and products to complex marketing problems/opportunities
-Possess critical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
-Ability to apply marketing principles to complex business situations
-Demonstrated qualification, negotiation and closing skills
-Independent, self-starter adaptable to change in a high energy environment
-Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and presentations)
-Proven ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
