We’re a fast growing team that’s just completed a very large round of fundraising, and we’re building a new brand from scratch.
We’re looking for a world-class brand strategy director to build and establish the Atieva brand. You’ll be at the epicenter of our quirky culture, awe-inspiring hardware platform, amazing team, and have an overwhelming desire to spread a story of unbridled creativity. We’re unbounded by any past brand legacies, and we’re looking for a visionary who can create and cultivate a completely new type of company personality, community, and a wholly new kind of legacy.
You Will:
Lead the creation of our global brand to create one of the world’s most visible brands
Develop a cohesive brand identity to ensure a seamless brand transition between our offices, website, promotional events, and future retail stores
Spearhead global teams to build, develop, and execute integrated and highly effective branding programs in the US, China, and Europe
Design and execute the company’s global brand architecture and strategy, and seamlessly integrate it throughout all messaging touchpoints
Provide leadership to external agencies to provide high profile branding and PR services
Be our brand champion. You’ll bring stories to life, drive compelling brand narratives, and evangelize them across the organization
Manage relationships and lead the implementation of brand strategies, initiatives, and messaging framework to communicate a compelling value proposition for current and prospective customers
Desired Skills and Experience
You Bring:
6+ years of relevant brand development experience
A passion for storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written.
Unwavering optimism and a tenacious drive to get things done
A history of building rapport with individuals, agencies, and teams across national boundaries
Bonus Points:
You’ve created brands and brought them to market
You love technology, consumer electronics, and hardware
You’ve got first-hand knowledge of lifestyle, consumer internet, or technology brands from a creative agency or consumer packaged goods background
You’re a master of disguise, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and like rolling up your sleeves to dive headfirst into a problem
