The Director of Manufacturing is responsible for the planning, organization and control of IsoNova's manufacturing locations at Verona, MO; Social Circle, GA; and Spencer, IA; for defining, measuring, improving and managing the processes; for working with key management to insure the manufacturing operations meet the needs of all internal and external customers by manufacturing and shipping products that meet their expectations.
Duties:

Oversees the management of all IsoNova manufacturing operations in Verona, MO; Social Circle, GA; and Spencer, IA. Will travel up to 50% to these plants. Plans, organizes, develops and controls the over-all manufacturing operations. Is responsible for the oversight of all production planning and scheduling.
Is responsible for the quality control process and all products produced. Assures all products are manufactured to meet specifications. Assures that all products delivered to the customer meet the customer’s request.
Assures consistent and complete implementation of all company policies, procedures and work rules. Is involved in creation and revision of company procedures and work rules as necessary.
Assists in preparation of annual financial budgets, then manages the facilities within budget. Assures all direct reports understand financial objectives.
Oversees environmental activities to assure that IsoNova is compliant in this area.
Maintains uniform and consistent adherence to federal, state and local regulatory agencies such as, but not limited to, USDA, EPA, MDNR, OSHA, DOL, etc.
Establishes appropriate written procedures and training programs to insure job safety for all associates. Assures injuries are less than the industry average.
Supports the Sales department and other Management individuals during visits to the plants by customers, potential customers, suppliers and other VIP’s.

Desired Skills and Experience
Job Experience/Technical Expertise:
Has a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, biology.
Has successful 5-7 years of experience in planning, organizing, developing and controlling all aspects of a manufacturing/processing operation. (Spray drying is preferred)
Continuous Process Improvement Six Sigma.
Acquires and applies professional/technical knowledge, skills, experience, and judgment to accomplish results, serve customers better and contribute to the organization’s intellectual capital.
