Senior Director - Online and Digital Marketing - LifeLock - Mountain View


Job description
The Sr. Director, Online and Digital Marketing will report to the VP, Marketing and define and execute the overall online acquisition strategy in an effort to drive significant growth in revenue (either through direct product sales or by leveraging the web and emerging media channels including mobile and social to drive revenue into other channels). The Sr. Director is responsible for developing strategies by channel and gains alignment from cross-functional partners. The incumbent will establish, plan and administer the overall direction, execution and goals for the digital marketing function. This role will develop and lead the social marketing processes/strategies to support brand evolution and business goals.
Develop and execute digital marketing strategy across all digital media channels including mobile, social and the latest emerging online media.
In partnership with the Marketing leadership team, define a winning go to market plan for the business that recognizes the optimum role of digital and social media, including mobile.
Ensures that digital initiatives are executed in conjunction with traditional marketing tactics to enable cross-channel marketing objectives.
Ability to define and build new business processes that place the online acquisition effort optimally within a set of broader multi-channel marketing initiatives.
Network and partner with leading technology companies to effectively develop mutual business opportunities.
Rely heavily on data analytics and be fully immersed in success metrics for effective decision making (click-throughs, conversions, engagement, attribution, revenue, etc.).
Master and implement digital marketing best practices to effectively maximize the network effect.
Implement sophisticated online campaign tracking and reporting tools and use analysis to continuously test and adjust for optimal business outcomes.
Continue to build and grow a high performing "digital team", and drive organizational effectiveness and growth across marketing.
Define optimal resource allocations and approaches for the business (what should be built in-house and what should be leveraged externally).
Leads the digital marketing department functioning as the internal consultant to brand marketing, trade marketing, sales, and external agency partners providing strategic direction.
Plans, develops and executes global digital initiatives across consumer touch points including: brand websites, search marketing (SEM and SEO, email marketing, social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter), online advertising, affiliates, mobile marketing, digital POS, new and emerging opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing required.
10 years of progressive Marketing experience with a minimum of 7 years of senior marketing management experience paired with exceptional digital acumen.
Solid understanding of direct response techniques.
Skilled communicator able to clearly articulate a clear vision for on-line marketing and advertising.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires self-motivation, innovative risk-taking and problem solving.
