Director - Wholesale Systems - PVH - Bridgewater


Job description
The Director, North American Wholesale Systems is responsible for meeting all of the system-related needs of the global Wholesale organization. This ranges from maintaining day-to-day operations to design and engineering of new systems. The Director, North American Wholesale Systems identifies new and emerging technologies and enhances existing processes designed to stimulate a competitive advantage in supporting the new and existing business functions. He/she coordinates application development for new Wholesale systems, focused in and around the central ERP.

Maintains a highly competent staff supporting the department’s primary systems and process responsibilities in a 24x7 environment:
o Order Processing and Fulfillment
o Finished Goods Purchasing
o Availability and Inventory Management
Interfaces to Sourcing, Warehousing, EDI, Financial, Planning, PVH Retail, Reporting, eCom, and other systems
He/she maintains an integral partnership with business partners and collaborates with the team to develop optimal solutions to support business needs. Essential in providing leadership and assistance to the business community while developing comprehensive and optimal solutions.
He/she establishes and maintains continual communications across the organization.
The Director, North American Wholesale Systems oversees the recruitment and retention of key personnel. He/she is involved in the interview process and selection of senior level candidates and in the evaluation and release of non-performers.
The Director, North American Wholesale Systems stays abreast of current trends and developments in technology, for processes and business and standards’ requirements.
The Director, North American Wholesale Systems sells new projects by supporting corporate business development efforts. Business Development support includes attending/facilitating client meetings, providing input for technical reviews, and participating in the capture/proposal process.
The Director, North American Wholesale Systems tracks budgets, deliverables, and support requirements. He/She works with Senior Management to develop business plans recommending short and long-range objectives, which are consistent with organization guidelines and designed to develop a continuously growing stream of revenue and profit.
He/she supervises leads and mentors a Group in the development and delivery of innovative, high quality services to the customers, and is directly responsible for employee performance evaluations of supervised employees, stimulating professional and managerial growth in the process.
The Director, North American Wholesale Systems has full responsibility for up-line management communications and Corporate compliance with all ethics and quality programs, local, state, and federal regulations.
He/she reports to the GVP Wholesale Systems.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience:
Successful design and implementation of large scale ERP systems to support Wholesale businesses.
Minimum of 3-4 years managing IT systems for an apparel based organization.
Ten to Fifteen years operations and information technology experience in Wholesale transaction processing.
I-Series knowledge is a plus.
Strong IT background in design, programming and implementation of Wholesale systems.
Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with the business.

Education:
College Degree in computer science, engineering or business field is required.
Graduate Degree in Business (MBA) is preferred.

Skills:
Must be a strong planner and manager, and have demonstrated skills in human relations dealing with a highly diverse workforce, domestically and internationally.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.

This position requires travel domestically and internationally.
