Job description
FUNCTION
Responsible for leading the development of the Company’s long term planning through the annual budgeting process and monthly and quarterly financial forecasts. This position is also responsible for leading the financial support and business partnership for the Indirect , Direct, International business segments and merchandising and IP&D finance support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

Direct all aspects of financial planning and forecasting for all key areas of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. Manage strategic aspects of planning process, raising key issues with functional leaders and framing discussion with executive team.
Member of strategic planning team. Lead setting of long-term profit targets, forecast base business earnings potential and determine impact on strategic initiatives. Lead the development and modeling of alternate business scenarios to analyze future earnings risk.
Lead the annual planning process for all business segments and responsible to communicate the annual plan and forecast to executive management
Lead the weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast process for all business segments
Oversee the FP&A and Indirect/Direct/International Finance Teams
Provide executive level review of business trends and financial forecast on a weekly basis
Partner with business leaders to analyze and evaluate new and current business initiatives
Lead the preparation of annual and quarterly guidance provided to investment community
Ensure current business trends and business initiatives are reflected in the financial planning process
Lead the development of financial statement models for use in planning and forecasting
Work with finance managers and business leaders to develop forecasts, understand variances, and recommend business process improvements
Prepare and present financial and business presentations for executive management and Board of Directors
Lead the analysis of actual results and prepare and assess forecasts, budgets and long-range plans in corporate and business segment P&Ls, balance sheets and statements of cash
Partner with senior management to ensure financial forecasting is complete, on-time and accurately reflects trends, anticipates challenges and mitigates risk
Partner with accounting during the monthly close process to evaluate results and explain variances
Responsible for managing investor relations activities in conjunction with external IR firm

Desired Skills and Experience
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. MBA preferred
10+ years finance experience
Experience in consumer products, retail or investment banking preferred
