Director - SEO - RealPage - Carrollton


Job description
The SEO Director is responsible for managing the RealPage network SEO initiatives while maintaining double-digit growth from inbound marketing efforts. This position will report to the VP of Marketing, managing a team of content writers, analysts and other inbound marketing positions.

This role requires stellar analytical and strategic skills. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record of using creative media – articles, videos, whitepapers, infographics, images – and social media campaigns to create growth in leads and revenue from inbound marketing efforts.

The applicant must have experience using advanced techniques in the B2B tech industry with content marketing, social media, video, networks and other tactics to maximize SEO performance with a focus on bottom-line results.

The SEO Director will be accountable for driving ROI from a variety of inbound channels, including organic search.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Develop and manage SEO roadmap and own the creation, execution and training for all optimization strategies
• Work with creative teams to create exemplary content
• Mitigate risk and maintain company integrity by mandating “white hat” SEO practices
• Provide strategies from keyword research for and on and offsite optimization
• Oversee creation for site architecture and cross-linking strategies
• Manage campaign performance and optimization efforts
• Interface with writers, content managers, web developers, social media managers and others to deliver the best possible performance
• Manage and train content team on strategies, content optimization and syndication across various platforms

Desired Skills and Experience
• Three years experience as a Director-level SEO at a search-focused agency
• Demonstrated success for at least two publicly traded companies
• Demonstrated success using social media strategies with inbound marketing objectives with at least two of the following properties: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Quora, LinkedIn or Pinterest
• Google Analytics certified, proficient in Webmaster Tools
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision making orientation
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, concepts, statistics, trends and industry developments
• Technical knowledge of Wordpress and Joomla
• Proficiency with Excel
• Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
