Job Description
Position Summary:
The Direct Distribution CaseManagement operations director is responsible for managing and improving thepolicy placement process for Life Insurance applications completed through theDirect Distribution channel. The candidate will improve the buying process forconsumers and associates by coordinating information flow between telephonesales centers, underwriting, and case managers; motivating and trainingparticipants to achieve peak performance; establishing management reporting tomonitor the business; and coordinate the implementation of process improvementsPrincipleResponsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Optimize performance ofunderwriting and case management staff and processes and ensure capacity is inplace to efficiently handle current and planned sales volumes.
2. Coordinate activity betweendirect sales activity teams; front line sales, case managers, and underwritingto ensure effective communication and fast underwriting decisions.
3. Develop and monitor productivityand quality performance metrics for associates involved in the placementprocess.
4. Coordinate partnerships betweenUnderwriting and External partners (Paramed, APS vendors) to optimizeperformance and maintain cost discipline.
5. Develop and implement trainingcurriculum to continuously improve quality and productivity
