The Enterprise team focuses on integrating Google's products and services into small and large businesses, educational institutions and government agencies. Consisting of high-achieving engineering, sales and marketing professionals, we work with a vast array of partners and customers to advance the company's mission of organizing the world's information to make it universally accessible and useful.
The role: Enterprise Sales Director
As the Director of our Enterprise Mid Market Sales, you will drive the expansion of a large part of Google Apps business into North America. Your main role will be to manage, recruit and motivate the Enterprise sales team in the region. As a key member of our management team, you will establish, own and drive strategic relationships with our customers in order to ensure growth revenue and guarantee long term partnerships. You are an entrepreneurial, hands-on manager.
Responsibilites:
• Develop Google’s Enterprise business across North America.
• Provide guidance, leadership and support for clients and internal sales team.
• Meet and exceed challenging quarterly sales goals.
• Establish and expand relationships with large customers.
• Actively contribute to the evolving Enterprise business and product strategy.
• Work with our Channels team to establish and execute a reseller program.
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree preferred in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or Communications (MBA a plus).
• At least 5 years experience building and managing sales teams in the IT space a must.
• Experience selling to the midd market through direct and indirect channels is a plus.
• Previous experience selling enterprise solutions a must, preferably software or SaaS.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Impeccable character and team-building capability.
