We are seeking a Director, Strategic Accounts to join our elite growing sales team in our San Rafael, CA office. You will be interactive, team-oriented, motivated, excited, and passionate about developing and building upon our global strategic account relationships.
The primary responsibilities for the Director, Strategic Accounts:
Assume a leadership role with several key customers to solidify the strategic relationship with and commitment to Canara.
Drive profitable revenue growth through identification of up-sell and cross-sell opportunities for Canara’s full product suite.
Craft and evolve Canara’s value and financial proposition for these customers in conjunction with the executive team.
Work closely and attentively with all cross-functional groups in the company, in particular key members of the operations and deployment teams, to create and implement solutions.
Continue to build on the momentum and creativity of the existing team, focused on the great culture and collaboration that exists today.

Desired Skills and Experience
The mix of relevant industry experience and background, plus personal attributes, the candidate must bring to the table include the following:
Industry Experience & Professional Characteristics
A recognized leader in growing revenue within a defined customer base - someone that understands the customers business needs and crafts solutions to solve them.
Exceptional track record, spanning a minimum of 5-7 years, within the data center space; preferably someone that has worked with or for companies in the UPS and/or battery monitory sectors.
Experience crafting profitable solutions with large, Tier-1 data center customers.
Proven track record in growing premier relationships with customers and delivering commercial results over the long term.
Management Skills & Personal Characteristics
Strong stature and presence. Must be highly credible and respected in the industry by peers, clients, and industry professionals.
Communication style that is clear, concise, articulate and enthusiastic.
Strong attention to detail – highly disciplined in approach and execution of projects, large and small.
Respected as someone that “gets things done” with efficiency and integrity.
Entrepreneurial at the core – someone that can roll up the sleeves and lead by example.
