Account Director - Leo Burnett - Detroit
Job description
Leo Burnett Detroit is in search of a seasoned Account Director to lead one of our premiere automotive brands. The Account Director will be essential in long and short term planning, creating vision for the brand and overall management of the account.
Primary Responsibilities
Act as the brand lead on integrated marketing programs (traditional, digital and social programs)
Provide strategic thinking and direction related to integrated communications plans.
Use anaylysis and insight to drive decisions
Plan for all engagements; goals, deliverables, schedules and budget
Manage senior level client relationships; be an effective interpreter of client's needs and direction
Motivate cross-capability teams to deliver and sell creative thinking and powerful HumanKind ideas that meet client objectives
Drive integration /consistency of message with all Leo Burnett integrated partners
Partner with Brand Strategy & Planning to improve consumer understanding
Key Competencies
Must possess 10+ years of agency account management experience
Thorough knowledge of both traditional and digital advertising, including how digital and interactive elements perform alone, together, and how they are constatly changing
Ability to foster strong, cohesive interdisciplinary teams
Critical thinker (conceptualizing, analyzing, applying, evaluating)
Passionate about advertising with either automotive or luxury brand experience
Strong project management skills
Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
