Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
Implement and monitor the quality standards for all resource services rendered within Bell Business Market (BBM) delivery
Support Sales where needed with customer visits and program oversight
Work with BBM Delivery Executives to support the management of key resource specialist's to ensure our resource bench is utilized to industry best rates
Face-to-face customer contact to create and develop a good business relationship with existing and inactive customers and retain and build additional revenues
Implement and monitor activities designed to help recruit, train and retain temporary employees needed to fill all available assignments internally and externally.
Work with our partners to recruit, select, train, and evaluate Staffing Specialists using
Oversee objectives and results locally, regionally and nationally for each practice resource usage leveraging both internal and external resources
Assist management in the quarterly preparation of a detailed forecast including projected billable hours, sales, gross profit and net profit (manage expenses necessary to achieve the desired net operating profit).
Executive oversight of a bench of IT Professionals
Work directly with IT Consultants and their leadership teams in supporting the staffing of professionals to ICT projects
Maintain an ongoing inventory of skills within the bench of IT professionals, and ensure that our delivery teams stay ahead of changing technology requirements
Optimization of Resource Utilization
Maintain clear and concise view of resource requirements, and availability
Actively work with the consulting leadership team to ensure that they have a detailed understanding of their active and upcoming portfolio of projects
Develop and maintain Workforce Management Models to ensure that resources are utilized at targeted rates, make recommendations to improve utilization rates as required
Forecasting of resource requirements and financial results
Develop and maintain models for forecasting resource requirements and financial results within the Consulting business
Based on forecast models, make recommendations on how to improve performance
Participate in governance process for hiring of new IT Professionals to fulfill requirements
Skills/Experience/Education Required:
Minimum of 15+ years in the Technology industry with the ideal leader having experience or knowledge in workforce management or staffing office environment
Strategic thinker with ability to quickly identify and understand issues and opportunities in an environment that is highly dynamic and competitive
Strong negotiation skills. Affinity for risk taking. Adaptability and flexibility. A solution oriented leader who has an innate ability to source and analyze pertinent data to solve complex issues
Proven ability to lead and deliver results working with direct and virtual, cross-functional teams
Excellent presentation and communication skills (clear, precise written and verbal communications), comfortable presenting in front of audiences with the ability to present to all functional levels including executives
Experience understanding customer requirements and a history of delivering on these expectations
Demonstrated experience in enhancing productivity and optimizing a workforce
Recognized leader with clear track record of using teamwork to create competitive advantage
Advanced financial management, business analysis, communication and social skills
Team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, displaying a high sense of urgency.
Work with business executive to forecast the resource management pipeline
Properly balance capacity delivery with training conformance and other non-productive time initiatives
Ability to clearly and concisely interact with senior internal & external executives
Creative problem solver, strategic thinker with the ability to work with ambiguity
Strong MS Office skill with strength in Excel & PowerPoint
