The Marketing Solutions Account Director is responsible for leading and building an account team, accountable for client P&L, relationship building, marketing strategy, campaign development and management. The ideal candidate is a highly passionate, collaborative, results oriented leader. They “own” assigned client relationships at a senior client/management level. The Account Director is specifically charged with deepening and strengthening Precision Dialogue’s relationships with clients through strategic insights and guidance. The Account Director also possesses the ability to direct and interpret data analysis to drive recommendations.
Act as the client lead or supervising manager, direct and coordinate Precision Dialogue resources to meet client needs
Maintain and when possible grow client relationships serving as the senior agency account contact or in limited cases the day-to-day “point” for existing clients. Develop multi-tiered agency-client relationships and ties
Leverage experience and skills to enhance Precision Dialogue’s account management processes (e.g., traffic, production, billing, campaign management, etc.)
Have a mentor attitude: responsible for building, managing and training support team of account managers, assistants and coordinators within department to improve performance and professional development
Foster teamwork and “whatever it takes” to get it done attitude in a constructive environment
Primary Responsibilities
Help company meet or exceed client expectations through effective project management and coordination of resources
Perform in the supervisory or lead client liaison role as situation dictates. In either case, work with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identify/implement Precision Dialogue solutions to help achieve client goals
Supervise (or if needed provide) project management for direct marketing, analytic, interactive, and/or technology driven assignments
Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance for all account managers in an effort to help them grow professionally and be more successful. Lead annual performance reviews for account team members assigned to your group
Preserve company profit margin through effective client management and efficient/prudent use of resources
Grow company business within current clients by identifying opportunities to solve client needs
Become knowledgeable with the breadth and depth of company solutions. Gain a strong understanding of database marketing and analytic approaches that under-pin Precision Dialogue’s core client solutions
Secondary Responsibilities
Support new business process and sales team on an as needed basis – including identifying appropriate company solution/approach as well as crafting and delivering presentation materials
Ongoing: spearhead the continued development of enhanced / more formalized account management processes and structure

Required Skills
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and/or supervise all the activity needed by internal resources to deliver effective client solutions on time and on budget
Experience (minimum 8 years) as marketing professional with significant experience within at least one of the company's core service areas (Database Marketing/Analytics, Campaign Management/Direct Marketing, Interactive/Email Marketing)
Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service
Proven experience in managing teams working cross-functionally within an organization
Demonstrated ability to engender client loyalty and confidence. Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic marketing thoughts and plans. Function as a solutions architect to solve client marketing and business needs
Ability to increase business from existing clients through the identification of new sales opportunities
Ability to help solve internal process, structure, or business challenges
Ability to support new business efforts -- including leading written RFI/RFP response as well as present company capabilities and service offerings
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
Undergraduate business degree required, Masters preferred
