Director People And Culture Business Partner Stitch Fix San Francisco

A key role in growing the Stitch Fix Business, as the Director of People and Culture (P+C) Business Partner, you will partner with the senior leadership from our Styling and Customer Experience (CX) organizations. You’ll be an integral leader of the P+C team, so you’ll need to understand every aspect of the business and be a thought leader on all things people and culture. It’s your role to create the end-to-end people strategy, talent attraction and development to total rewards for Styling and CX. You will solve complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how work is done. In our model,
the business partner builds strong people management skills within the leadership team. You will also work in close partnership with the Talent, Learning and Development, and Total Rewards/Operations leaders on the People and Culture team to develop these strategies. A key aspect of this role will be leading and continue to build a develop a team of talent business partners to support these organizations.

Have the opportunity to be hands-on, working side by side with our people to get things done on a variety of people related areas. As a core part of this hands-on work, you will be rolling out programs to support the People and Culture team, including compensation, performance and talent programs.
Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people related strategy and execution.
Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions.
Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond People and Culture solutions.
Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, people metrics, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
Develop integrated solutions through collaboration and proactive communication with the People team and Business Management.
Help the leadership team develop and hone their people-management capabilities. Some say this is one of your super-powers!

Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You have an advanced degree or related experience (bachelor's degree minimally required).
You have a minimum of 6-8 years+ experience operating as the business partner for large-scale organizations.
You have collaborated with business leaders to create comprehensive people plan to influence lasting change over large functions.
You are an expert in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
You’re capable of flying high and being a strategic player in one breath and flying low and diving deep the next.
You’re knowledgeable in multiple human resource disciplines including engagement, compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, maternity leave and federal and state respective employment laws.
You will thrive in high-volume, fast-paced and feedback driven environments.
