Key responsibilities include supporting the development and execution of the organizational strategy and plan, stakeholder management, and communications. The Strategy Director must apply a structured methodology and support change management activities within the business, including the assessment of the overall impact, risk mitigation and impact to organizational structure, reporting, job changes, decision rights and resource planning.
The Strategy Director analyzes and makes recommendation on matters related to organizational capability, structure and operating strategy.

Organizational capability concerns resource management, including the development of annual resource plans, critical assessment of skills and requirements for key positions, and developing resource models to support the organization’s strategy.
Organizational structure critically evaluates the staffing of key functions and departments, to work closely with leadership on defining roles and responsibilities and to recommend changes aligned with our strategic goals.
The Operating Strategy is Henkel Adhesive Technology’s business plan, which defines how we do business. It aligns the organization set up with strategy and establishes a consistent and transparent organization. The Strategy Manager ensures consistency and collaboration throughout Adhesive Technologies and manages the ongoing development of the global AE Target Structure.

Qualifications

What are we looking for

The knowledge, skill and abilities which must be demonstrated include, but are not limited to:

Master or diploma with excellent degree of one of the leading universities (MBA or PhD in Business Administration, Engineering or Science preferred)
Min. 5 years of work experience, thereof min. 2 years in a leading consulting firm
Proven track record in independently managing projects or workstreams of complex projects
Proven experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Ability to influence others and to move toward a common vision or goal
Excellent active listening and writing skills
Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
Forward looking with a holistic approach
High level of motivation and team player
Travel: Occasional international and domestic travel
