Facebook is seeking a Director of SMB Learning to join the Global Sales Learning team. This position will be responsible for the learning strategy supporting the Global SMB audience, including internal (Account Managers/Team Leads) as well as external (Outsourced Sales and Service) audiences. This Leader will lead a team of Sales Learning Partners and Delivery Managers aligned to regional SMB stakeholders managing our SMB client relationships, providing day-to-day consulting support on how best to equip our sales teams with the skills and knowledge needed to drive the success of our SMB advertisers on Facebook.
Build relationships with regional SMB leaders, SMB teams and external outsourced vendor partners globally to collaborate on business needs, assess key learning opportunities and understand how best to align learning solutions to impact priority business metrics
Develop learning strategies to address greatest priority needs, partnering with cross-functional partners to build global enablement strategies for SMB sales audiences
Manage global team of regional sales learning partners and learning delivery managers to ensure strategy alignment and execution
Identify ways to scale training across SMB team with consistency, while localizing content and training for regional SMB sales teams needs and market dynamics
Develop and implement meaningful ways to measure the impact and effectiveness of SMB training and development programs
Serve as trusted advisor to our SMB Sales Leaders, providing critical input on how best to build skills and knowledge and drive performance of SMB sales teams
Partner with other shared service functions within Global Sales Learning to ensure seamless execution of learning programs in region
Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or another related field
15+ years of experience in leading teams and building global learning strategies
10+ years working experience in sales/support training & development, sales and sales leadership
Experience developing and implementing learning strategies to support global audiences
Experience managing internal and external facing projects (sales development/strategy, training, communications, marketing, account management)
Experience in emerging trends and marketing in the digital/media industry
Experience with project management and running strategic projects with cross-functional teams
Communication and presentation experience with proven track record of working with executive level leaders
Experience collaborating, sharing, and driving best practices cross-functionally and globally
Preferred qualifications
Digital marketing background as context for understanding specific business needs and relevant learning experiences
SMB/Call Center Leadership experience
Experience with Facebook’s family of apps and services
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
