The Director, Management Information Systems (MIS) provides leadership and guidance to a team of business analysts and project managers responsible for the data platforms and strategies supporting the Consumer Banking businesses. Reporting to the Vice President, CB Shared Systems, this role plays a critical role in driving operating efficiencies and enhancing system capabilities to improve decision making.
Support enterprise-wide projects; Assist senior management with information based decisions.
Enhance system capabilities to improve decision making, operation effectiveness and efficiencies
Monitor and maintain system and decision integrity to minimize adverse impacts on customers
Manage/develop a highly effective team, including recruiting, retaining high performers
Partner with business leaders and information technology teams to ensure tools and data are available and continuously improving
Plan, initiate, prioritize and supervise various projects to meet business needs
Manage legal, compliance implications and audit process
Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes
Skills
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree required; advanced degree preferred
8+ or more years of experience including data structure experience, including 4 years of people management
Ability to use data to tell a compelling story and influence decision making
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines
Experience evolving MIS team organization and operating model design preferred
Experience in environments requiring regulatory reporting preferred
Lean, Six Sigma and/or demonstrated process improvement expertise a plus
