This position will lead our growing US based ASIC organization. It will be the primary technical interface to customers, with full responsibility for early project scoping (die size, power, package, IP), project planning (top level partitioning, floorplan, design methodology and signoff planning, resource planning, etc.), and full project execution. This position will interface with Korea based ASIC teams, structure and manage third party design service, IP, and EDA providers to develop a fully functional, scalable, and efficient engineering execution capability for sophisticated US customers. This is a highly technical position. Our primary focus will be on large, high performance and highly complex ASICs with the most advanced process technologies, packaging technologies, and high speed interfaces. This position will also be a key part working with Marketing and Sales teams to win business.

REQUIRED SKILLS
BS or BE minimum, MS/PhD preferred.
Minimum 10 years of direct experience in ASIC or chip design, with significant hands on experience in large complex projects. Strong knowledge in design methodology and flows, chip level planning and design execution, package integration, high speed interface integration. Comfortable working with and managing 3rd party teams. Highly passionate and energetic. Excellent communication, inter-personal and presentation skills
