The Senior Director, Data Product Strategy will lead the development of an enterprise-wide strategic vision to consistently collect, access and leverage data assets within and across businesses for maximum value to the organization. This role will champion a Data-as-a-Product mindset and will focus on alignment of stakeholder strategies with enterprise data strategy and governance practices. As a member of the Data Product Management team within the Enterprise Business Intelligence organization, this role will also be responsible for providing strategic leadership and development of best practices within the Data Product Management team.
Define, communicate, update, and enforce enterprise data governance policies and procedures to ensure a consistent approach for sharing data across the enterprise
Partner with CIO organization to create a data technology strategy that establishes a common enterprise approach for digital data collection, tagging, storage and unification of customer level data
Work with business stakeholders to understand key opportunities/challenges and translate those into a clear, actionable data strategy that drives incremental value to the organization utilizing enterprise data assets
Prioritize the collection of data sources to be ingested in the CDP in partnership with the Audience Studio and CIO organization based on NBCU business objectives
Lead the communications and evangelization of Data Products developed by EBI to drive awareness, knowledge and utilization across the enterprise
Establish a framework for evaluating and rationalizing the utilization of existing and new data analytic tools / technology in partnership with the CIO organization
Lead the development of a data products UX/UI guideline and data visualization approach to ensure a consistent look and feel for all EBI products
Recognize profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities and champion new ways to capitalize on them leveraging enterprise data assets

Minimum 8 years of experience in a digital strategy, big data, digital media, management consulting, or technology consulting role with increasing responsibility in the Entertainment, Media, Communications, Financial Services or related industries
Bachelor's degree required
Experienced in building data and analytical strategies leveraging broad types of data to deliver deep business insights and drive performance
Strong knowledge of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data landscape and technical understanding of how data is used within marketing and/or business transformation
Has experience with Data Lake/CDP strategies and partnering with IT on data architecture and identity resolution solutions
Avid follower of the evolving MarTech / AdTech landscape
