As a Director in one of Cognizant’s most strategically important and fastest growing practices, you possess the ability to integrate well and develop you leadership within a global matrixed organization, working collaboratively in agile environments with subject matter experts, technologists and creative teams to support planning, prototyping and other tasks associated with bringing fully baked solutions to market with Fortune 500 and premiere global organizations.
Responsibilities:

Core member of the team responsible for digital strategy and experience design services in collaboration with subject matter experts, technologists and creative teams.
Drive business development and manage relationships with existing and potential Clients. Leverage disciplined approach to new business development activities and compelling pursuit strategies in support of aggressive growth plans.
Provide leadership and direction on one or more engagements while maintaining a high quality level of service, supporting issue resolution and management of team and scope.
Help recruit, on-board, develop, and retain other team members - both new hires and existing Cognizant business practioners (as appropriate) - to support the firm’s ambitious growth targets for the Practice.
Play a leading role in winning pursuits by creating compelling pitch documents and leading other practices in making contributions that support the pitch story and ultimately answer the challenges being raised by the client organisation.
Develop thought leadership through publication online and off, within the company and outside, of materials relevant to your role. Present and or contribute at conferences and events that offer positive and influential opportunities to promote Cognizant’s thought leadership.
Key requirements:
Solid expertise within digital strategy, experience design and consulting to Fortune 500 corporations, with extensive cross industry experience in digital strategy and transformation (i.e. digital marketing, e-commerce, operations, collaboration, IoT (Internet of things) customer experience and or innovation).
Combined experience with a consulting firm and or interactive or digital agency
Experience advising major transformation initiatives across industry sectors.
Proven ability to operate successfully in a collaborative, globally matrixed organization.
Experience in business development, including identification of leads and opportunities, pre-sales and post-sales support and client relationship management, with executive level clients.
Superior written, communication and presentation skills; Proven ability to communicate verbally and in writing strategic digital concepts to all audiences.
Ability to travel at a minimum 50 percent of the time.
Minimum Bachelor’s level degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior advisory experience and deep knowledge of digital transformation topics such as:
Digital Strategy and Transformation
Customer Experience Management Strategy
Business solution design
New business model development
Workshop design and facilitation
Emerging Technologies and platforms
Multi-channel & Omni-channel excellence
Marketing toolsets (social, mobile)
Risk assessment and mitigation
Real-time Analytics, Big Data and Automation
Broad and diverse digital business acumen and cross-industry experience, with depth of exposure to at least one or more of the following industries: Retail, Consumer Goods, Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Media and Entertainment.
Proven ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities
Experience building deep client relationships and identifying client's priority needs for service and support up to board level.
Superb team building skills with a predisposition to building consensuses and achieving goals through collaboration.
Strong ability to develop strategies and thought leadership, consider multiple points of view and the impacts on strategic goals within the organization, infrastructure, teams, etc.
Ability to manage teams of experience design professionals, consultants and other SMEs to work in cross functional and client-facing teams.
A positive, results oriented style - high level of energy, sense of urgency, creativity, and decisiveness coupled with the ability/willingness to work hard and well under pressure.
An engaging/open interpersonal style complemented by the analytical pragmatism necessary to quickly dissect highly complex issues.
Ability to establish immediate credibility among peers; a professional who is respected for his/her intelligence and technical expertise.
