Content Distribution Digital Products is responsible for driving consumption, monetization and brand presence for NBCUniversal programming across o/o and distributor digital products - set top box, TVE, dMVPDs
Responsibilities
Define and implement the vision, goals and objectives for the DD project management team.
Establish & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Define and maintain project and portfolio management methodologies including but not limited to: risk management strategy, project prioritization, road-mapping, capacity planning, etc.
Define and maintain project management tools including but not limited to: Jira, Confluence, and manual templates.
Ensure continuous improvement of all project and portfolio management methodologies, templates, and tools to account for updated workflows, new workflows and best practices.
Audit and enforce established project and portfolio management methodologies and tools.
Maintain the team-training matrix, training documentation and provide training on project and portfolio management methodologies, templates and tools.
Enable team ownership and accountability through resource management, change management and executive leadership.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project management team.
Develop and maintain an executive portfolio and roadmap in prescribed tools to ensure strategic alignment.
Manage and communicate risks and issues in a timely fashion and according prescribed methodologies and tools; mitigate the impact to project timeline and partner/platform roadmaps.
Lead and facilitate interactions between team members, internal partners and external partners with focused meetings, prescribed agendas and guided conversation.
Clear and concise project and portfolio reporting via prescribed methodologies and tools.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
Solid history and proven track record of Project Management skills; consulting experience is preferred
Minimum 7+ years of project management experience
Minimum 5+ years of direct resource management
Minimum 5+ year of experience managing process, organization, strategy, SDLC, implementation-based projects
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, adapt to, and initiate change in a fast pace environment
Ability to plan, prioritize and manage delivery of projects per business requirements
Demonstrated experience with presentation and analysis tools, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
Familiarity with an SDLC methodology that includes requirements analysis, development and delivery
Agile or Scrum experience preferred
