Responsible for leading a team of Strategic Growth Managers and managing YOY portfolio growth.

Most of all, we seek to provide industry leading insight and consultative engagement that will enable our partners to thrive in an evolving and dynamic commerce marketplace.
Responsibilities include:

Leading a team of Strategic Growth Managers (aka RMs) and managing a collective large enterprise client portfolio with a focus on driving YOY revenue growth
Directly managing a select strategic group of VIP clients
Working with the PayPal large enterprise leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans. Responsible for managing team goals, pipelines and forecasts.
Building strong relationships with critical C-level Executives at each merchant that engenders trust, confidence, loyalty, awareness and mutual benefit.
Aligning complex technological solutions that may span mobile, e-commerce, point of sale, and other interfaces with focused consumer insights to design comprehensive and meaningful solutions which drive business results.
Identifying opportunities to increase the PayPal share of checkout/YOY revenue, and persuading merchants to adopt recommended strategies to increase overall PayPal awareness.
Resolving urgent merchant-specific issues by partnering with PayPal’s legal, finance, risk management, merchant underwriting and compliance teams
Keeping merchants informed of PayPal’s product roadmap and communicating sensitive news to the merchant (ex. a rate or reserve change, the need for a change in contractual terms or the need to obtain confidential information for risk management)
Acting as the voice of the customer: learning merchants’ product pain points and wish list; understanding their priorities and urgency, ensuring that this is shared with the adjacent PayPal business units.
Facilitating meetings with growth strategy management teams, PayPal functional groups and PayPal senior management when appropriate
Working with PayPal’s and merchants’ marketing teams on multi-merchant programs, events, and development of collateral
Coaching and mentoring of direct reports
