Director Product Support Operations Facebook Menlo Park

We are seeking a seasoned leader with experience leading large global teams, scaling critical programs, and a track record of strong partnership with senior product leadership. You will have a passion for people management and demonstrated ability to build and develop leaders on your team. You will bring strategic horsepower and creativity to help identify step function changes that will improve the quality of experiences and operational effectiveness for our community and cross functional partners.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communications and relationship building skills at all levels in the organization. The ability to achieve results through others is essential and requires close alignment with all of our teams within global Community Operations, Product Management, Engineering, Analytics and Policy Management teams. This is a full-time role based in our Menlo Park office.
Responsibilities
Represent operations in relationships with product, engineering and cross-functional partners.
Help to streamline how PSO partners with these groups across the full Facebook family of products.
Gather and implement feedback and recommendations for how we can improve our partnership.
Provide strategic direction and thought leadership and a vision for our Product Support Operations team, defining north star for world class community product support.
Understand core elements of our global operations and product strategy, and drive innovative and scalable opportunities across quality of experience, scale, instrumentation and more to team roadmap.
Provide program and project management support for major platform, product, and tool driven change initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience in product, strategy, online operations, and project management
5+ years people management experience, especially of managers
Analytical and problem solving experience, with experience driving resolutions to problems that span business and technology
Experience in identifying, utilizing and communicating performance metrics and distilling longer term implications from this data
Relationship management experience and experience working within an organization
Preferred Qualifications
Desire to help people and provide delightful product experiences
Proven ability to influence others without having positional authority
