Director Organizational Learning Development Nevro Redwood City

We are seeking a mission driven Director of Organizational Learning and Development with a passion for people and development. The Director of Organizational L&D is responsible for the development, implementation and management of comprehensive, integrated training strategies, and programs to support and drive business goals.
Responsible for designing, executing and managing development programs that cultivate, engage and develop talent at all levels and roles.
Lead the design, development and implementation of L&D programs, tools, workshops and resources.
Provide strategic direction and leadership for company-wide organizational training and development programs and initiatives.
Understand key business drivers and products in order to work with business leaders to identify training needs.
Prioritize training needs in concert with business leaders. Develop, implement and evaluate effectiveness of programs.
Manage execution of such programs, leveraging matrixed resources. This includes training agenda, content management, supporting partner scheduling, and room and travel scheduling.
Integrate continuous innovation and learning into the culture that define Nevro as a best place to work
Assist with business development initiative to include implementation of new product lines, processes, and applications.
Develop a functional understanding of competitive solutions, to facilitate a thorough understanding of IMS product advantages and differentiating factors for new and existing field.
Role Requirements
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Learning & Development.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Management role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 

Skills and Knowledge
Ability to build, implement, and refine a Learning and Development strategy that supports the growth aspirations of the company.
Experience with development and roll out of e-learning solutions required.
Experience managing in a matrixed environment is required.
Ability to manage multiple assigned projects simultaneously along with solid prioritization skills.
Experience utilizing adult learning principles to design and deliver effective training programs.
Experience designing and delivering product, soft skills and technical training required.
Strong leadership, both direct and indirect. Ability to work well cross-functionally and influence across the organization at all levels. 

Team player – proactive and willing to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
Analytical thinker, detail oriented and excellent customer service focus.
