The Director of Organizational Development will work collaboratively with senior management and other HR experts to design, develop, and implement an integrated talent strategy leveraging innovative approaches and technologies. This strategy will aim to create an empowering environment in which to build a career and position CGI as a high performing organization with a diverse and deep talent pool to sustain our profitable growth strategy.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of an innovative and integrated talent management strategy in collaboration with leaders globally.
• Act as a thought leader in the areas of talent management, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Keep current on emerging organizational development trends and practices.
• Develop strong consulting and partnering relationships with senior management and HR leadership team as the lead expert of the Organizational Development domain.
• Ensure prioritization and oversee implementation of consistent OD practices throughout the organization in alignment with global business strategy and cohesion with CGI’s values, mission and objectives.
• Partner and collaborate closely with senior leaders and regional HR partners to implement OD strategies and processes locally.
• Identify opportunities to enhance employee experience and improve productivity by leveraging technology to support key OD processes.
• Lead a team of 4 organizational development professionals to provide support in the areas of performance management, organizational design, change management, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Facilitate OD knowledge sharing across the organization by participating or hosting synergy groups and facilitating workshops.
• Strengthen OD capabilities across the global HR function to meet current and future organizational needs.
• Provide change management coaching for large projects including mergers and acquisitions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in organizational development, business consulting, and change management, more specifically in designing and implementing OD initiatives in large global organizations.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in business management, human resources, organizational development, or a combination of these or other relevant fields.
• Expert consulting skills with ability to build collaborative, trustworthy relationships at the most senior levels in the organization.
• Proven track record of excellence in implementation and sustainment of talent management programs in a global organization.
• Proven ability to drive change and influence adoption of new ideas.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills in English and French.
• Substantial experience in strategic planning, change management, and program management.
• Experience leading and developing a team of motivated employees in a global environment.
