KD Director is to develop, manage and follow up Bangkok plants KD pick/pack operations including VECV, Aftermarket and Aftermarket VOR orders.
Responsibilities:-
Managing and development of KD pick/pack operations
Pro-active management of volume fluctuations in the operations
Control batch movement of KD kits to all KD plants (UD brand) in the region
Safeguard KD operations to meet quality criteria’s as defined with specific focus on Material Availability at Point of Use at KD plants
Drive continuous improvement using a QRQC structure based on VPS
Develop work instructions/SOP’s for KD pick/pack operations and secure process adherence

Plan and provide necessary training, facilities and other resources for KD pick/pack operators
Work according to work instructions, assignment and strategy
Safeguard and follow up compliance with safety and environmental legislation
Stay informed and suggest safety and environment actions
Participate and contribute to GTAO Logistics management agenda and objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Ability to work successfully in multi-cultural work and management environments
Fluent English verbal and written skills
Strong communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
Change Management understanding and skills
Other Volvo leadership skills per “leading people” profile
Experience in managing KD operations and systems is preferred
Experience in free trade zone legislation is preferred
