We are seeking an individual with strong Test Engineering skills and strong leadership skills capable to manage the introduction of new Accessories into our factory test processes as well as leading optimization of our test processes. The successful candidate will be based in the Cupertino area and will have an active engagement with the hardware and software design teams as well as the cross-functional Operations teams in Apple.

Ability to travel to WW supplier’s manufacturing sites to work face to face with the local Test Eng teams [ expect international travel to equate to approx 30% of your time ].
Excellent verbal and written communicator in technical and business contexts with a proven record in generating managerial reports and delivering presentations.
Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment.
Engineering knowledge at the architecture level. Track record of working in both digital and analog electronics. Additionally, Mechanical or software background would be an advantage.
Knowledgeable in production control processes, data analysis/interpretation GR&R, Cp/Cpk and correlation analysis.
Description
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Building a strong Test team.
Interfacing with engineering teams early in the development cycles to ensure a smooth transition to the Operations team.
Driving deployment and optimizations in the various test processes to deliver optimal quality and yields.
Responsible for test readiness for Accessories NPI programs in our factories as well as sustaining for the lifecycle of the products.
Representing the Accessories teams at cross functional meetings.
Work with internal and external partners on the design and deployment of complex factory test solutions. Manage detailed requirements definition, review and approve system designs and oversee deployment.
Education
BS/MSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in design and manufacturing.
Additional Requirements
Travel: Domestic or International travel ~ 30%.
