You will have primary responsibility for working with product management to define and implement new product offerings and improvements to existing products and platforms. As Director over the Product Development team, you will be accountable to deliver products, solutions and services required to meet the budgeted revenue targets. This position will also be responsible for supporting products in production to ensure systems run 24x7. - You will establish and refine the processes of the product development organization.
- You'll provide guidance to the Vice President of Product Development and Factory Systems about the needs and planning necessary for implementing the desired roadmap; and help determine the viability of the proposed roadmap projects within the organization.
- You will be responsible for the development of BRCC products supporting the roadmap as defined by Product Management. This includes research, requirements definition, conceptual design and technical architecture, management of the new product, and solution testing and delivery.
- Manage the essential processes to maintain and support BRCC products.
- Monitor existing projects so that the team understands the complexities and barriers faced by other projects so the development groups, as a whole, can prepare for those surprises in the future.
- Establish an effective communication plan where team members understand the scope and vision of the organization and are part of making the vision a reality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience leading software development organizations
- Demonstrated effectiveness in building and sustaining high-performance teams in technology
- Consistent track record of on-time, on budget, full scope delivery of technical solutions in support of complex business problems
- Confirmed ability to craft relationships with internal clients and balance the demands of contending business goals
- Proven record working with Product Management to define and implement product enhancements and new product offerings
