Director CSR Management Volvo Group Göteborg

As Director CSR Management you will be a part of a team driving the CSR agenda and work in various projects in the area of responsible business, societal engagement and stakeholder management. You will be part of the CSR Management team at Volvo Group Headquarters focusing on keeping our reputation as a trustworthy company, be relevant and a good corporate citizen that creates business and societal value and thereby enable business success. By your understanding of our company’s business model and ability to identify opportunities and risks from a CSR perspective, you will take actions that affect our business and operations. You have the capacity to anticipate consequences on the business and thereby create long-term value.
The position requires excellent collaborative skills and the possibility to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

You will report to the Senior Vice President for Corporate function CSR Management.

CSR Management is defined as the function that drives the CSR agenda to ensure our standard of responsible business behaviour throughout the value chain, being a good corporate citizen in the society where we operate as well as communication and reporting to relevant stakeholders in order to enable business, protect our brands from risks and build our brands.

Within the area of CSR we set policies and directives that concerns the entire Group, ensure efficient coordination of Volvo Group entities and support the truck divisions and business areas.

You will be a part of a highly skilled team, working with passion and energy for creating both business and societal value. An open and positive attitude is what we believe in.

Are you our new colleague?
To be successful in this position you need to have a great interest in CSR and should be able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience. You should be able to demonstrate experience from working with CSR, business development, societal intelligence, human rights, legal/international humanitarian law or management consulting.

The work includes leadership abilities, communication and network skills and a good understanding of the automotive industry as well as CSR management in a global context.

We believe you have a master’s degree in a relevant area and excellent language skills. In addition you need to have high integrity, be a true change agent and be agile.
